    Elspeth is Head of the International Centre for Coaching and Leadership Development, which is home to the highly acclaimed and accredited coaching and mentoring programmes, the world-class international coaching research and the highly professional coaching, mentoring and leadership services. Elspeth also leads the design and delivery of all executive development programmes to public and private sector clients. Some of the Oxford Brookes contracts that Elspeth has led include The Home Office, Thames Valley Police Force, Oxfordshire County Council, MasterCard Worldwide and Executive Trainers in Nigeria. Elspeth has lead and personally delivered learning and outcome strategies across a wide range of Management and Organisational Studies programmes at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Prior to joining Oxford Brookes University 13 years ago, Elspeth worked as a Human Resource Manager for 12 years within Marks and Spencer Plc.

    Elaine is a principal lecturer and the leader of research within the International Centre for Coaching and Leadership Development. She is an experienced researcher, author and editor, and also directs the Doctor of Coaching and Mentoring Programme. Elaine has a comprehensive knowledge of research approaches and methods and her current research projects are focused upon the development of emotional strength through coaching; the relationship between philosophy and coaching and the issues arising in reciprocal peer coaching. Elaine also supervises and examines students at master’s and doctoral level.

    Tatiana leads the MA in Coaching and Mentoring Supervision. She is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist with research interests in the coaching process and development of coaches. Before moving to the UK Tatiana worked as an Associate Professor in Leadership Development and Organisational Behaviour at the Academy of Management in Minsk. Her previous areas of research and teaching included education, aviation psychology and counselling. Now she teaches on postgraduate programmes and supervises students at Masters and Doctoral level. Her consultancy work involves coaching, coaching supervision and design of leadership development programmes. Tatiana was a first Co-editor in Chief for Coaching: An International Journal of Theory, Research and Practice. She co-edited the Complete Handbook of Coaching published in 2010 by SAGE. In 2010/11 she was a Nominee for the Association for Coaching Honorary Award for Influencing.

    Kate currently leads the MA in Coaching and Mentoring Practice, the first and also the largest postgraduate coaching and mentoring programme in the UK. In addition to her academic career, Kate has extensive experience as an international project manager and consultant in Russia and Eastern Europe, and Western Europe. Her clients have included the European Commission, the British Council and the UK Government Department for International Development. She has worked in many sectors from the oil and gas industry to elder care. Her research interests focus around the importance of building cultural awareness into coaching and personal development.

    David Clutterbuck is one of Europe's most prolific and well-known management writers and thinkers. He has written more than 40 books and hundreds of articles on cutting edge management themes. David is perhaps best known for his work on mentoring and coaching, on which he consults around the world. He heads the UK research committee of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council and maintains an extensive and continuous programme of research in his own right. David describes his role as asking EDQs – extremely difficult questions – and helping people and organisations to come up with their own, unique answers. In his workshops and seminars around the world, he draws upon a wide and distinctive portfolio of provocative exercises and analyses to help people and organisations challenge and overcome their limiting assumptions.

With more than 12 years of consultancy experience she has created and delivered a variety of coaching and management development programmes globally across a multitude of market sectors. Carmelina has a comprehensive understanding of competency frameworks, leadership development and talent management. She also specialises in psychological coaching, training needs analysis, 360 degree feedback and psychometric assessment. As a member of the British Psychological Society, the Association for Coaching and the European Mentoring and Coaching Council, Carmelina follows the ethical guidelines and principles of these bodies.

He has a strong understanding of business due to his early accountancy career with a range of companies, including IBM and RM. Ian has more than 10 years’ experience in observing and working with teams, on the MBA and other programmes. Specialising in improving self-awareness, career direction and communication, Ian’s research focuses upon the selection and matching of coaches in executive coaching, and the relationship between coaches’ personalities and their coaching styles. Ian is an advanced practitioner of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator personality profiling tool and has investigated how personality links to personal reflection.
