What the ICCLD Research Group does
Members of the Research Group are involved with meaningful exploration of areas emerging from coaching and mentoring's intellectual roots in the different disciplines: social psychology, learning theory, theories of human and organisational development, existential philosophy and phenomenology.
The results of our research are disseminated widely at a variety of national and international conferences and also find practical applications across organisational settings. We also undertake funded research and evaluation.
Current research areas include:
- Coaching and the role of emotion;
- Peer coaching;
- Developmental coaching for leaders;
- Cross-cultural coaching;
- The micro analysis of the coaching process;
- Self-deception in coaching
