Welfare, social, educational and cultural needs are catered for by the Students Union, and the hub of Oxford Brookes Students Union is the Helena Kennedy Student Centre. In addition, the Students Union runs a number of bars across the campuses and in residential halls.

  • Play football, rugby, climb or debate politics! +

Going to university is about trying something new and doing the things you enjoy. There are nearly 70 clubs and societies run by the Students Union and these provide another great way of meeting people and socialising. Whatever your interests, whether you like rugby, football, music, drama or photography, or if you are interested in culture, politics or religion, you will find a club or society catering for like-minded people.

We have excellent sports centre facilities offering something for everyone, whether you want to use the fitness suite or heavy weights room, or join one of the many University sports teams. Facilities include badminton courts, squash courts, basketball courts, football, hockey and rugby pitches and a climbing wall and tower.

  • Careers advice +

Oxford Brookes University has a dedicated Careers Centre, providing support and guidance when researching and applying for graduate positions. They help with compiling your CV, offer interview practice and mock assessments, and give careers counselling. As a graduate you are able to use this facility up to three years after graduation.
