International Students
Oxford Brookes is a truly international university. Of our 19,000 students, 20% come from outside the European Union, representing more than 145 different countries, and our academic staff are drawn from all over the world. This global reach is reflected in the content of our courses - many of which have an international dimension - and in features such as work placements and study opportunities with our international partners. As a student you will form relationships and learn to understand international perspectives that will give you a major advantage in the global world of modern business.
Representatives from the University and Business School make regular visits overseas, and we encourage you to make contact with us if we are attending an education fair in your country. Please see our schedule of visits at the overseas visits page.

Support when you need it +
You will be supported in many ways throughout your time at the Business School. When you arrive you will be given a personal tutor, who is the first person to turn to for advice and help with any difficulties. Oxford Brookes University has an International Student Advisory Service, which gives special support and information on important issues for international students such as visas and living in the UK. You are also welcome to use the whole range of support services of the University, such as study advice, English language support, research training, IT support, the Students' Union, counselling, and the Careers and Employment Centre. We will help you build a support network to make the most of your time here and form lifelong relationships and contacts.
